Transfer: Man Utd take decision on allowing Wan-Bissaka join EPL rivals
Manchester United have received offers from Crystal Palace and West Ham about signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to The Athletic.
It’s believed both bids were rejected as the Red Devils.
United don’t have any intention to sell or loan the 24-year-old right-back before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
If Wan-Bisssaka was to depart a replacement would be required to ensure manager Erik ten Hag has two options in that position.
There is little expectation of that happening at this late stage.
Wan-Bissaka moved to Old Trafford three years ago in a deal worth £50 million. Dailypost

Transfer: Man Utd consider selling C Ronaldo with only one Champions League club interested
Manchester United are considering selling Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
And according to Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague, Atletico Madrid are the only club interested in signing the player.
Ronaldo is keen to feature in the Champions League this season, something the LaLiga club can offer him.
Balague claims Atletico’s boss, Diego Simeone, also wants Ronaldo to come and replicate Luis Suarez’s impact at the club.
Atletico are now looking at a possible deal that would please the 37-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
“Manchester United have considered the departure of #CR7 for a while, Ragnick thought getting rid of him was essential for the good of the team. But only one club really interested but can’t adjust the numbers
Simeone wants him at Atlético to do a Luis Suarez with him. And CR7 likes the idea and might explain his behaviour.
“Atlético looking at all kinds of possibilities to please Simeone…and Jorge Mendes who has an exceptional relationship with the decision-makers at the club,” Balague tweeted. Dailypost

Transfer: Ten Hag speaks on Man Utd signing Arnautovic after latest defeat
Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has reacted to reports linking his team to sign Bologna striker, Marko Arnautovic.
Man United have been linked with Arnautovic this summer.
Speaking on the development after Man United’s Premier League 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday, Ten Hag refused to confirm a move for the 33-year-old Austrian attacker.
Asked about Arnautovic and the need to reinforce his attack line this summer, Ten Hag told reporters at his post-match press conference: “I don’t go into names because I think in this pre-season maybe 250 players are linked with Man United, so that’s it.
“We have two strikers, maybe a third one with Rashford as well – who we considered as a striker, but he had a really good pre-season on the left side and also today he had two really good chances coming in from the left-hand side.
“So I think it was the right decision to do it like this. But we didn’t have the typical nine, it was not available today.” Dailypost

EPL: Real reasons Man Utd re-signed Cristiano Ronaldo – Roy Keane
Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the club was “a short-term fix for the fans and the share price”.
Keane stated this on Monday night, after Ronaldo scored his 18th Premier League goal in the 3-0 drubbing of Brentford.
However, Keane insists there is “no logic” to any possibility of letting Ronaldo leave Old Trafford.
“It [Ronaldo’s signing] was a short-term fix, for the fans, for the share price. But he has still scored the goals.
“I just think with the goals that he has got, his performances, warrants staying at the club. But Manchester United have to get players around him, they have to get other strikers in, there has to be competition for places.
“If the leading goalscorer, the man you are depending on, is 37 years of age then that is certainly not good but I would certainly be holding onto Ronaldo,” Keane told Monday Night Football. Dailypost

EPL: Man Utd reveal next permanent manager to players
Manchester United have informed the players that Erik ten Hag will be appointed as their next permanent manager imminently.
The UK Mirror reports an official announcement will be made after their trip to Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
United’s 4-0 defeat at Liverpool on Tuesday night, shows the scale of the task ahead for Ten Hag.
The 52-year-old will be tasked with rebuilding the club from this summer.
That has already begun after United’s chief scout, Jim Lawlor, and Marcel Bout, head of global scouting, both left the club on Wednesday.
Lawlor joined United in 2005 under Sir Alex Ferguson and was promoted to chief scout in 2014.
Bout came in under former United boss Louis van Gaal, initially as a coach, before moving into a scouting role. Dailypost

EPL: Fresh details emerge of Rangnick’s next role at Man Utd
Ralf Rangnick will work only six days in a month, when he begins a consultancy role at Manchester United this summer, SportsMail reports.
The German, who is currently the interim manager of the first team, has agreed a two-year stay beyond this season.
Although United have remained tight-lipped on the details of his next role, it is understood that it would constitute 144 days’ work should Rangnick remain at Old Trafford until 2024.
The 63-year-old has not been consulted in the Red Devils’ hunt for a permanent manager, with Mauricio Pochettino of Paris Saint-Germain and Ajax’s Erik ten Hag the frontrunners for the job after talks.
Rangnick’s part-time duties at United are likely to depend on which manager is appointed.
But there is a real mystery surrounding what will be expected of him, with Darren Fletcher, John Murtough and Matt Judge in charge of the various aspects of the club’s football operations. Dailypost

Man Utd keeper Pereira explains reason for Hearts loan
The Portuguese under-21 international will spend the coming season at Tynecastle.
The youngster is hoping that he can gain first-team experience and prove his value to the United coaching staff.
“I spoke with the staff at Manchester United and the idea was for me to get out on loan and to get as many minutes as I can,” he told Hearts TV.
“I’ve been working with David de Gea and Sergio Romero for some time now and it’s amazing. Lee Grant is also there and they are like big brothers to me.
“They only want the best for me and are always trying to help. Being around world-class ‘keepers has definitely made me a batter goalkeeper and also a better person. The GK union is amazing there!
‘When I was younger I was a fan of van der Sar. I’ve had the chance to meet him at the training ground.
“Manchester United have had some unbelievable goalkeepers; Schmeichel, Barthez, van der Sar and now David de Gea. Hopefully, they can continue this legacy.”

Martial vs Rashford: Dimitar Berbatov picks his preferred Man Utd No.9
Man United sold Striker Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan on transfer deadline day and their efforts to sign a replacement for the Belgium international proved unsuccessful.
Recalls that Lukaku joined Antonio Conte’s men from Manchester United on Thursday night.
The former Chelsea and Everton star joined the Serie A giants on a five-year deal for £73million.
Berbatov now wants Rashford to play like Man United’s main striker ahead of Martial this season.
Asked who should play in the No.9 role at Man United this term, Berbatov told MEN Sport: “Marcus Rashford. I’m a big fan of Anthony Martial and played with him at Monaco, but I’d keep him on the left where he can cut inside and shoot.
“When you a play a mobile front three they can switch and confuse defenders, so I hope to see United’s frontmen mixing it up in this one.”

Transfer deadline: Man Utd star angry after club blocks last-minute exit
Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo, was left annoyed after his proposed move to Everton failed, SportsMail reports.
The Argentina star has made only 18 appearances in the past two seasons and had been persuaded to leave Old Trafford.
A loan was put in place, but United changed the parameters on Thursday morning and the deal collapsed.
Everton had offloaded defender Matty Pennington to Hull on loan and let Mo Besic join Sheffield United for the season, with the hope of landing Rojo.
However, the Toffees did beat the deadline, to complete a dramatic late swoop to sign Alex Iwobi from Arsenal for £40million.
Everton had failed with a £30m offer for attacking midfielder Iwobi on Wednesday.
