Africa Magic has officially renewed the popular television sitcom My Flatmates for its 10th season, extending its run on DStv and GOtv across Africa.
Co-created by comedian Bright "Basketmouth" Okpocha and the late filmmaker Kayode Peters, the long-running show follows a group of eccentric friends navigating shared accommodation, financial challenges, and daily life in Lagos.
Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels (West Africa) at MultiChoice Nigeria, highlighted that reaching 10 seasons reflects the show's sustained popularity and relatable storytelling.
Production for the new season, produced by Barons World Entertainment in partnership with Africa Magic, is currently underway, though an official premiere date has not yet been announced.
