International pop superstar Ariana Grande has launched a blistering public attack against the White House after the Trump administration used her hit track "Bye" as the background audio for an aggressive social media video celebrating United States border enforcement operations.
The controversy ignited on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, when the White House released a synchronized TikTok video showcasing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tactical agents tracking down, arresting, and handcuffing undocumented immigrants.
The promotional clip was aggressively captioned: "Bye-bye. President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history."
Taking directly to the post's comment section on Thursday, an outraged Grande did not mince words in expressing her disgust.

"Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. F*** ICE," the Grammy-winning artist wrote.
While the singer's high-profile comment was no longer visible on the official post by Friday morning, Variety and Reuters confirmed that Grande’s legal and management teams are actively exploring emergency intellectual property avenues to force the absolute removal of her audio from the propaganda clip.
The White House has firmly refused to back down, with press spokesperson Abigail Jackson releasing a combative counter-statement on Friday: "We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens."
