Liverpool fans had plenty of interest in the top 100 player ratings on FIFA 20 released by EA Sports today.
Last season’s Champions League success saw numerous stars rewarded, with Virgil van Dijk bumped up to a 90 rating, identical to Mohamed Salah as both entered in the top 10.
Sadio Mane and Alisson Becker also came inside the top 20 with 89 ratings after impressing last season – but not everyone was given an update thanks to their efforts.
In fact, Liverpool fans were left frustrated with EA Sports for the ratings of two players in particular as Roberto Firmino and Fabinho were given identical ratings to last season.
Firmino bagged 16 goals in all competitions for the Reds last season and was a vital part of their prolific front three, whilst Fabinho made a significant impact over the second half of the season in the heart of midfield.
But Firmino was rated just 86, with Fabinho given an 85 rating on the game.
Supporters took to social media to voice their displeasure at the ratings, pointing out that they are underrated and under appreciated.
One fan wrote: “Genuinely don’t know why Fabinho and Firmino didn’t get an upgrade despite being 2 of our best players last season”.(Sportishnews)
