Why Is EFCC Asset Forfeiture Half Billion Dollars Trending?




The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is trending following landmark disclosures made by its Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime in the United Kingdom.


Olukoyede revealed that the anti-graft agency has recovered or secured non-conviction-based forfeitures of cash and assets exceeding $500 million (over ₦673 billion) for the Nigerian Federal Government.
