President Bola Tinubu has directed the immediate suspension of three permanent secretaries following the discovery of a fictitious government agency operating within the premises of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The affected officials are M.S. Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare, and Richard P. Pheelangwah. In addition, the President ordered the immediate arrest of the promoter, Prince George Buchi Nwabueze, who reportedly operated the entity under multiple aliases.
The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Aliyu, SAN, disclosed the directive after briefing the President at the State House.
The fake entity—operating as the "National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Special Project Office"—was illegally granted office space in the OSGF facility without presidential authorization or legal backing.
This discovery marks the fourth unauthorized office uncovered since the initial exposure of the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council.
