Olivier Glasner Confirms Taiwo Awoniyi's Departure From Nottingham Forest

Nigerian international striker Taiwo Awoniyi has bidden farewell to Nottingham Forest supporters and teammates following a pre-season victory over Brest at the City Ground.

Awoniyi received a guard of honour from his teammates upon exiting the pitch, with manager Olivier Glasner confirming that the forward is nearing a permanent move to newly promoted Coventry City.

Coventry City has reportedly reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest for a deal valued at approximately £17 million. Awoniyi, who joined Forest from Union Berlin, registered key goal contributions late last season to help maintain the club's top-flight status.
