Chelsea have reached an agreement with Aston Villa to sign World Cup-winning Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez in a permanent transfer valued at £7.5 million.
Martínez gave the final approval for the move to Stamford Bridge following discussions between both clubs, strengthening Chelsea's goalkeeping department following recent performance concerns surrounding first-choice keeper Robert Sánchez.
Simultaneously, FC Barcelona officially confirmed the signing of Croatian international goalkeeper Dominik Livaković from Fenerbahçe SK.
The 31-year-old shot-stopper signed a four-year contract keeping him at the Camp Nou through June 30, 2030, reinforcing the La Liga champion's depth following recent roster adjustments.
