Spain international midfielder Rodri has been included in Barcelona's matchday squad for their LaLiga encounter against Athletic Club at Spotify Camp Nou.
The midfielder, who recently completed a high-profile transfer from Premier League champions Manchester City, missed FC Barcelona's opening fixture against Elche.
Head coach Hansi Flick named Rodri among the substitutes alongside stars Dani Olmo, Jules Koundé, and Wojciech Szczęsny, while Marc Bernal and Pedri formed the central midfield double pivot.
With three points from their opening match, a home victory against Athletic Club will elevate the Catalan side to six points in the early LaLiga standings as they aim to build momentum in their domestic title campaign.
