Opposition Aligned: Senator Seriake Dickson Affirms Free Presidential Tickets for Top Allies

Amidst these strategic discussions, the leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has clarified its operational stance regarding its primary election selections.
According to AIT News online, the national leader of the NDC, Senator Seriake Dickson, disclosed that the political platform has already handed free presidential tickets to prominent national brands.
The former Bayelsa State Governor explicitly stated that the decision has successfully positioned former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, alongside the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as key figures within the party framework.
Senator Dickson firmly explained that the party intentionally eliminated stressful internal contests to foster ultimate harmony.
He emphasized that neither himself nor the national chairman demanded or received any financial compensation from the politicians before handing them the platform's endorsement.
He challenged critics and political observers by asking what else stakeholders could possibly demand after being granted completely free, unhindered access to presidential nominations.
Concluding his address, the senior lawmaker maintained that the newly consolidated party remains an inclusive political entity fully open to all Nigerians ready for a democratic shift. Dickson urged all party loyalists and coalition groups to halt internal debates, drop individual grievances, and immediately channel their energy into collective planning to win the upcoming general elections.
