Ubi Franklin Vows Legal Crackdown on WhatsApp Groups Created to Bully Chioma Adeleke

Music executive and talent manager Ubi Franklin has declared war on cyber-trolls targeting Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday afternoon, Franklin revealed that certain individuals have gone as far as creating dedicated WhatsApp groups to coordinate attacks and bully Chioma.

Franklin, who manages Chioma’s brand, stated that himself, Davido, and Chioma are no longer ignoring the harassment and are ready to deploy the full weight of the law to track down the perpetrators.

“The trolls will have to explain to the authorities what Chioma did to deserve the bullying from them,” Franklin posted, emphasizing that digital anonymity will not protect them from prosecution.

This move marks a significant shift in the couple's response to online vitriol, as they transition from silence to active legal engagement to curb the targeted harassment of the Adeleke family.
