J Martins Calls for Peace as P-Square Twins Allegedly Celebrate Birthdays on Different Dates

Veteran singer J Martins has made a public appeal to the Okoye twins, Peter (Mr. P) and Paul (Rudeboy), to settle their ongoing dispute away from the spotlight.

In a social media post shared on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Martins expressed shock over reports that the brothers, who were both born on November 18, 1981, are now celebrating their birthdays on separate days.

Martins, a long-term collaborator and friend of the duo for over two decades, questioned the logic behind changing a birth date after 40 years of shared history.

He noted that such public displays of friction are not only heartbreaking for fans but also bring "shame" to their heritage.

“I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother? Can we fix this stuff inside our house and not bring this shame on Ndi Igbo?” J Martins wrote.

Despite a high-profile reunion in 2021, tensions between the P-Square brothers reportedly flared up again in late 2024.

J Martins’ intervention joins a growing list of voices urging the Afrobeats legends to prioritize their bond over their professional or personal disagreements.
