Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has shared a controversial take on why Wizkid and Davido have dominated the Afrobeats scene for nearly two decades.
In a candid interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the "Emeka Must Shine" crooner argued that the intense rivalry between their fanbases is the secret to their eternal relevance.
Blaqbonez suggested that while the artists themselves might share mutual respect, the "hatred" and competition between the Wizkid FC and the 30BG camps keep the megastars trending daily.
“Wizkid and Davido can never fade. That hatred is the reason why they will be relevant forever. When they love each other, it is over. Love is for children,” Blaqbonez expressed.
The rapper, known for his own competitive nature, encouraged fans to maintain their rivalry, stating that it creates the friction necessary for Afrobeats to stay at the forefront of global music discussions.
