Tragedy struck Aloshi, a town in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, as gunmen invaded the residence of 37-year-old Stephen Kwaghtomun, killing him and abducting his 27-year-old wife. The attack occurred around 11:30 PM, causing panic among residents.

According to Dailypost, Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants stormed the house, shooting sporadically before executing Kwaghtomun, popularly known as “Action,” and taking his wife to an undisclosed location. The community remains in shock, grappling with the increasing insecurity in the region.


The Police Public Relations Officer for the Nasarawa State Command, SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident, stating that the victim’s remains have been deposited at the General Hospital in Obi. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the perpetrators and rescue the abducted woman.


This incident adds to the growing list of security challenges facing Nasarawa State, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced security measures to protect residents from such violent attacks.
