Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane has won the 2026 Men's Ballon d'Or, finishing ahead of Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé at the awards ceremony held in London.

The 33-year-old forward claimed football's highest individual honor after delivering a 73-goal season across 65 appearances for club and country, firing Bayern Munich to a domestic league and cup double while scoring six goals during England's third-place finish at the FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, Spain and Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas made history by securing her third Women's Ballon d'Or trophy, capping her return to peak form following her previous knee injury.

The ceremony also celebrated prominent managerial and youth achievements: Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente won the Men's Coach of the Year award following Spain's World Cup victory, while Barcelona's Pere Romeu took home the Women's Coach of the Year award.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka received the Socrates Award for his humanitarian initiatives, and Spanish international goalkeepers Unai Simón and Cata Coll won the Yashin and Kopa equivalent goalkeeper awards.

"Without you guys (his Bayern Munich teammates) and the rest of the team it wouldn’t be possible; the way you guys push me, the way we compete. So thank you very much." — Harry Kane, 2026 Ballon d'Or Winner
