Comedian and social media influencer Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, has launched a sharp verbal attack against Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tunji Disu, accusing him of selectively shielding activist VeryDarkMan from arrest.
In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, DeeOne expressed outrage over the police's alleged failure to arrest VeryDarkMan after the activist publicly declared he would not honor police invitations regarding allegations made against AIG Jimoh Moshood.
DeeOne pointed to the swift arrests of high-profile figures like Blord and former BBNaija housemate Tacha for similar infractions, insisting that equal laws must apply to all Nigerian citizens.
Warning the IGP that his tenure is temporary, DeeOne vowed to expose further institutional lapses if the police hierarchy continues to grant favorable treatment to VeryDarkMan.
"Fellow Nigerians, our current Inspector-General of Police, Mr Tunji Disu, is becoming a useless man. What is good for a citizen is also good for all citizens." — DeeOne (Aderombi Adedayo Martins)
