Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has ignited a fresh, highly polarized digital firestorm after publicly criticizing the late actor Alex Ekubo for keeping his marriage completely private and out of the public eye during his lifetime.
Edochie argued that public figures must stop structuring their lives around a profound fear of public opinion and online criticism.

Nasboi furiously called out gossip platforms for immediately digging up details of the grieving widow, reminding the public that Ekubo had deliberately kept his domestic life away from the "vulture internet" to escape toxic rumors, including baseline speculations regarding his sexuality.
