We Must Double Our Output: Plateau APC Targets Massive Grassroots Turnout for President Tinubu

Plateau APC Outlines Strategy to Deepen Voter Turnout, Rallies Support for Federal Economic Reforms

The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has convened an expansive strategic meeting in Jos, bringing together prominent party stakeholders, youth networks, and specialized support organizations.

The primary objective of the grassroots forum was to roll out a comprehensive voter education campaign aimed at maximizing regional turnout in upcoming electoral cycles.

Addressing the gathering, Plateau State APC Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature, defended the ongoing policy changes implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing them as critical pills required for Nigeria's long-term infrastructure and financial development.

He simultaneously appealed to residents across all local government areas to support current joint initiatives designed to restore permanent security and peaceful coexistence to the state.

The Voter Activation Map: Shifting From Passive to Active

The leadership layout emphasized that winning elections requires moving past passive party alignment and ensuring every supporter has a functional Permanent Voter Card (PVC). The party intends to bridge this gap by deploying community-level registration monitoring teams to assist citizens during late-stage electoral registration windows.

"I want to assure you that we are going to work with our hearts to make sure that we double the votes that Mr. President got on the Plateau in the last election," Hon. Rufus Bature declared to the delegates. "I am therefore going to appeal to all of us that if you have not registered or you don't have a PVC, there is a little window that you still have to go out and make sure that you have your PVC so that at the end of the day, you'll be able to vote."

Activating the City Boy Movement for Deep Grassroots Coverage

Reinforcing the state executive's position, the Plateau State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement framed the ongoing mobilization as an operational roadmap to cultivate deeper, more responsible citizenship habits across municipal wards.

Rather than executing generic, high-level political rallies, the movement's field units are tasked with executing door-to-door civic advocacy campaigns that directly tie policy understanding to voter participation.

"Let us remain steadfast, disciplined, and focused on our collective vision," the coordinator stressed during the group presentation. "Let us champion the ideals of service, patriotism, and development while supporting policies and programs that will improve the lives of Nigerians."

The event closed with a formal resolution from all participating affiliate groups to launch sustained voter education campaigns across the three senatorial zones of Plateau State, ensuring that under-registered communities are fully integrated ahead of upcoming general ballots.
