Tactical Sector 6 Troops Save Six Commercial Passengers in Midnight Bush Rescue

Joint security forces attached to the military task force, Operation Enduring Peace, have successfully thwarted multiple high-risk kidnapping attempts across the visual corridors of Plateau and Kaduna states, liberating ten abducted citizens after intense, tactical bush operations within a 48-hour window.

Confirming the string of military triumphs from the tactical headquarters in Jos on Sunday, the Spokesperson for the Joint Military Task Force, Captain Chinonso Polycarp Oteh, disclosed that frontline troops have launched an aggressive, multi-directional manhunt into dense forests to track down fleeing armed syndicates.

The operational breakdown commenced at approximately 12:30 AM on June 5, 2026, when Sector 6 troops deployed to Riyom Local Government Area responded to distress calls detailing a highway blockade mounted by bandits along the Hawan Kibo–Rafin Sayin axis.

Concurrently, Sector 5 troops operating in the Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State successfully foiled an ongoing assault in Faggem Village, forcing armed abductors to abandon their high-value targets, which included a local pastor and his wife.

In a final synchronized strike, Sector 7 operatives deployed at Ungwan Gora in Sanga LGA of Kaduna State intercepted a highway ambush between Rafi Tagwai and Angwan Dariya, recovering eight spent 7.62mm ammunition casings and successfully tracking down and rescuing two injured passengers who were immediately evacuated to the Fadan Karshi District medical facility.
