President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued an uncompromising national directive declaring that his administration will completely crush all active insurgent cartels, emphasizing that the Federal Republic of Nigeria will never bend or succumb to the criminal intimidation of terrorists, bandits, or kidnapping rings.
The president’s bold security declaration was contained in an official speech delivered on his behalf by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, during the national 2026 Democracy Day Inter-Denominational Church Service held at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.
The highly spiritual and patriotic event, themed “God of Hope, Actualizes Our Dreams,” was attended by prominent state actors, including First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
