Liberian-born Nollywood star Eddie Watson has shared a deeply personal look into his life, career, and future aspirations. 

In an exclusive interview, the 45-year-old actor, known for his versatile roles and massive fan base, revealed that his journey began as a DVD seller in Liberia before a chance encounter in Ghana transformed him into a screen icon.

Watson also addressed his personal life, confirming that he separated from his wife in 2024 after over a decade of marriage, and they are currently finalizing their divorce.

Despite his success in front of the camera, Watson admitted that directing is his true passion. 

"As a director, you’re everyone and everything," he noted, expressing a desire to tell deeply rooted African stories that can compete on a global scale.
