The scheduled arraignment of Nollywood actress Doris Ogala at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi was stalled on Thursday, April 30, 2026, due to her absence.

Ogala is facing a four-count charge including cyberbullying, harassment, and attempted extortion involving the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor.

The prosecution, led by Tolulope Mokuola, moved for a bench warrant after Ogala failed to appear.

However, the defense counsel, Temiloluwa Akindayini, argued that the actress is currently in Abia State recuperating from recent surgery.

Justice Akintayo Aluko declined the warrant request but issued a strict order for Ogala to present a verifiable government medical report and appear for arraignment on June 9, 2026.

The case follows public accusations made by the actress against the clergyman earlier this year.
