Former Bayern Munich star Dietmar Hamann has advised the German giants to prioritize signing Marcus Rashford over Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
Rashford, currently rejuvenating his career on loan at FC Barcelona from Manchester United, is seen as a more affordable and versatile option for Bayern's attack.
While Anthony Gordon could cost upwards of €80 million, Rashford reportedly has a permanent purchase option at Barcelona for just €30 million (£26m).
Hamann described the 28-year-old as "brilliant," citing his ability to play across the front line.
Meanwhile, Bayern Sporting Director Christoph Freund confirmed that contract talks with legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer are progressing positively, with the 40-year-old captain expected to stay and mentor successor Jonas Urbig.
