The Allied Peoples Congress (APC) has reacted sharply to Peter Obi’s resignation from the ADC, describing him as a "political drifter" who is constantly roaming in search of an uncontested presidential ticket.
In a scathing post on Sunday, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka criticized Obi’s history of moving between parties, including APGA, PDP, LP, and now the ADC.

Morka alleged that Obi prefers a "path to power delivered on a platter of gold" rather than building a stable party structure.
“Fare thee well, Nigeria’s inconsolable political drifter,” Morka wrote, mocking Obi’s reported move toward the newly floated Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
The exchange highlights the intensifying political friction as key figures realign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
