Famous socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially declared his intention to run for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
The celebrity barman made his ambition public after a high-profile visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Imo State.
Seeking to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency, Cubana Chief Priest shared a video of the visit, stating he has informed party leaders of his "humble desire" to serve his people.
During the visit, party officials praised his versatility as a businessman and motivational figure, assuring him of the party's support.
Already a key figure in the ruling party, Chief Priest recently served as the Imo Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth group dedicated to President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
“God is in control; let His will be done,” he captioned his declaration, signaling a formal shift from the hospitality industry into full-time politics.
