Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has declared that Nottingham Forest is fully prepared for their high-stakes UEFA Europa League semi-final first-leg clash against Aston Villa.
The "Tricky Trees" are set to host Unai Emery’s side at the City Ground on Thursday night, April 30, 2026.
Despite Aston Villa entering the match as favorites due to their stellar Premier League form and previous European pedigree, Aina remains unfazed.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the Nigeria international emphasized that the team is embracing the moment rather than feeling the weight of expectation.
“I don’t think there’s that much pressure,” Aina told reporters. “The team and club are all proud to be in this situation... We just want to work hard and get the best result we can, which is hopefully a win tomorrow.”
Forest fans are hoping for a repeat of their solid home performances to carry an advantage into the second leg.
