BLord Sent Back to Kuje Prison After Failing to Perfect ₦20m Bail Conditions
Despite being granted a ₦20 million bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja, cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as BLord, has been returned to the Kuje Correctional Centre.
Social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) revealed this in a video on Saturday, explaining that the businessman could not immediately fulfill the court's requirements.
Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia had granted BLord bail on Friday but mandated the submission of his international passport as a primary condition.
VDM alleged that the passport, which was expected from Anambra State, did not arrive on time, forcing the billionaire to spend the weekend in custody.
“I’m very happy that BLord was granted bail but unfortunately for him... his passport could not come from Anambra State on time so he had to be taken back to Kuje prison,” VDM said.
BLord is facing a six-count charge bordering on the alleged impersonation of VDM and using his brand identity for business promotion without consent.
He is expected to remain in Kuje until at least Monday, April 20, 2026, when the bail perfection process is expected to resume.
