The ongoing controversy surrounding Blessing CEO’s breast cancer diagnosis has taken a sharp turn as popular social media critic Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), publicly questioned the authenticity of her claims.
Reacting to her emotional appeal for financial aid and a potential mastectomy, VDM urged the influencer to provide verifiable medical evidence to the public.
Blessing CEO had earlier announced on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer and requested donations for her treatment.
While several celebrities offered words of encouragement, VDM expressed skepticism in a video shared on Thursday, citing a lack of transparency.
“I’m not convinced enough that Blessing CEO is saying the truth. You did not provide the report of the hospital that diagnosed you. You did not put the receipt of the money you’ve been spending together for the public to see. You just came with emotional blackmail,” VDM stated.
The critic emphasized that cancer is a sensitive global health issue and warned against using such a serious illness for "clout chasing" or "pranks" to solicit funds.
He challenged the relationship expert to post her official diagnostic reports and medical bills to prove she is not merely seeking a "distress sale" for her Lagos mansion under false pretenses.
