South African Grammy winner Tyla has shattered glass ceilings by becoming the first African artist to host the prestigious Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025. According to Nickelodeon's official statement, the "Water" hitmaker will helm the star-studded event airing live on June 21 from Santa Monica's Barker Hangar. "We're thrilled to have Tyla bring her infectious energy to this year's show," a Nickelodeon spokesperson said.
