Former U.S. President Donald Trump has granted a pardon to popular American rapper NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden.
The rapper was among several individuals pardoned on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in a surprising move that has drawn significant attention from fans and the music industry.
NBA YoungBoy took to Instagram to express gratitude, saying, “I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building — as a man, as a father, and as an artist.” His lawyer, Drew Findling, also confirmed the pardon despite not handling the application himself.
