A tragic accident claimed the lives of two vigilante members in Benin City, Edo State, on Tuesday afternoon. The fatal collision occurred along the busy Ugbowo-Lagos Road near the University of Benin (UNIBEN) main gate.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victims were riding a motorcycle when an articulated truck plowed into them around 12 noon. The impact was so severe that both men were reportedly crushed beyond recognition, with their heads completely mangled in the horrific crash.

"The accident happened right in front of UNIBEN's main gate just past noon," an anonymous witness revealed. "The two vigilantes didn't stand a chance - they died instantly on the spot."
Emergency responders transported the remains to an undisclosed mortuary. Authorities have yet to release the identities of the deceased as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
