Kylian Mbappé scored a dramatic late winner as Real Madrid secured a historic 2-1 El Clasico victory over LaLiga leaders Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou.
The defining moment came in the 87th minute when Jude Bellingham showcased extraordinary skill to set up Eduardo Camavinga, who cut the ball back for Mbappé to turn into the net.
The late goal sparked wild celebrations on the pitch, with Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho sliding across the turf on his knees as tensions flared between players and home supporters.
Real Madrid had initially taken the lead through a lucky deflection off Mbappé before Raphinha equalized for Barcelona with a crisp snapshot.
Despite Barcelona pressing hard for a winner—including a narrow miss by Lamine Yamal—Real Madrid’s late counter-attack sealed their first victory in Barcelona in three years.
The result halts Hansi Flick's domestic dominance and closes the gap at the top of LaLiga to just three points.
"It was the 87th minute when Mbappe tucked in from Eduardo Camavinga's cutback following some sublime skill from Jude Bellingham... closing Real to within three points of their great rivals." — LaLiga Matchday Review
