British Transfer Record: Enzo Fernández Completes £125m Deadline Day Move to Manchester City



Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández has completed a joint-British record £125 million transfer from Chelsea to Manchester City, bringing an end to one of the most drawn-out transfer sagas of the summer window.


The agreement represents the highest fee ever received by Chelsea for a player sale. 


Following the completion of the deal on deadline day, Fernández took to Instagram to share a heart-felt message to Chelsea supporters, reflecting on his three years at Stamford Bridge and Cobham.
