The Kaduna State Police Command has recovered 332 pieces of counterfeit $100 bills, nine locally fabricated firearms, a pump-action rifle, and two stolen high-value vehicles during coordinated clearance operations across the state.
A statement issued by Police Public Relations Officer DSP Mansir Hassan revealed that three suspects were arrested at Panteka in Kurmin Mashi while attempting to sell a stolen black GMK Jeep valued at N70 million for just N4 million.
Preliminary investigations indicated the vehicle was stolen from Abeokuta, Ogun State, where one suspect worked as a driver for a Chinese firm.
Additionally, police intercepted a stolen Toyota Hilux from Niger Republic, recovered arms abandoned by fleeing bandits in Giwa LGA, and arrested a suspect in Barnawa with fake dollars and naira notes.
