Automotive media and off-road enthusiasts are reviewing the reveal of the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition, launched as the 10th installment in Jeep’s "Twelve 4 Twelve" anniversary series honoring the brand's 85-year heritage.
Officially unveiled at the 14th annual Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the special edition combines trail-focused hardware with regional cosmetic styling:
- Off-Road Hardware: Built on the four-door Willys platform, it features standard 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires (with 35-inch options available), heavy-duty front and rear Dana 44 axles, a locking rear differential, a 4.10 axle ratio, and steel rock rails.
- Design & Styling: Includes body-color fender flares and hardtop, a gloss-black grille panel, 17-inch smoky black wheels, and custom hood graphics depicting mountain peaks.
- Interior "Easter Eggs": Outfitted with Ferndale cloth seats featuring Terracotta stitching, Blaze Orange accents, a 1941 WWII-era Willys parachuting graphic embossed on the seats, and a custom gear shifter medallion displaying a mother bear and cub.
