Automotive media portals, test drivers, and vehicle buyers are discussing the global unveiling of the next-generation 2027 Hyundai Tucson compact SUV.
The new generation marks a dramatic shift away from the outgoing model's sharply creased, geometric body lines toward a boxier, more rugged, and upright stance inspired by Hyundai's latest "Art of Steel" design philosophy.
Key design features capturing global attention include full-width LED lighting bars displaying illuminated "H" motifs at the front and rear, flared wheel arches, and an expanded footprint—growing 60mm longer and 40mm wider to increase rear passenger legroom and headroom.
Inside, the cabin underwent a complete overhaul, replacing the previous dual-screen layout with a large, portrait-oriented center touchscreen running Hyundai’s next-gen Pleos infotainment OS, paired with a floating center console and a squared two-spoke steering wheel.
Hyundai also revealed an off-road-styled XRT trim featuring dark cladding, skid plates, and outdoor tailgate lighting.
