Former Kano State Governor and 2027 Vice-Presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has called on citizens to reject divisive rhetoric and focus on candidate competence as political activities for the 2027 general elections officially get underway.
In an official public statement released on his social channels, Kwankwaso highlighted pressing national challenges including inflation, youth unemployment, and insecurity.
He noted that his decision to team up with Peter Obi under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) platform was driven by national interest and equitable governance rather than personal or regional considerations.
"What we need is leadership with the competence, courage, and commitment to put the interests of Nigerians first." — Rabiu Kwankwaso
