Liverpool have reached an agreement with FC Barcelona to sign 27-year-old central defender Ronald Araujo on a season-long loan deal.
Reports indicate that the transfer is expected to be finalized over the weekend, providing immediate defensive reinforcement for the Premier League side.
The Uruguayan international signed a contract extension with Barcelona until 2031 last year.
