National career portals, job portals, and public sector employment forums across Nigeria are processing massive search traffic following an official recruitment announcement by the Federal Government.
The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) is trending across national headlines after officially opening its 2026 recruitment portal for qualified Nigerians.
The recruitment drive—which opened on July 28, 2026, and closes on August 10, 2026—offers full-time career opportunities across three main cadres:
- Superintendent Cadre: Includes roles for Chief Superintendent (Veterinary Doctors), Legal Officers, and Assistant Superintendents.
- Inspectorate Cadre: Open to OND/NCE holders for Inspector of Quarantine roles.
- Assistant Cadre: Targeted at SSCE/NECO holders for Quarantine Assistant positions.
The agency emphasized that the application process is completely free and conducted exclusively through its official online portal (`recruitment.naqs.gov.ng`).
Shortlisted applicants are scheduled to undergo Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and screening interviews later in August. NAQS management issued a strict public advisory warning applicants against paying third-party scammers or unauthorized agents.
