Nigeria has officially been chosen to host the 2026 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards, with Lagos selected as the host city to celebrate the continent's top footballing talents, coaches, and teams.
The prestigious event will be held at the newly renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu, marking the first time Nigeria has hosted the awards gala since 2015.
While CAF confirmed the host nation, city, and venue, the exact date for the flagship ceremony remains to be announced.

The event is expected to feature coveted honors including the African Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Goal of the Year awards. Nigeria is also slate to host the 48th CAF Ordinary General Assembly in October.
