Former Big Brother Naija reality TV show winner, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has blamed his single status on the highly transaction-based nature of Nigeria’s current dating culture.
The 34-year-old entertainment and food entrepreneur admitted in a recent video message that while he feels the pressure of getting older, the financial expectations placed on men by Nigerian ladies are deeply intimidating.
Whitemoney expressed frustration over the constant "billing" in modern relationships, pointing out that many prospective partners, particularly in Lagos, prioritize swift financial gain over building a real future together.
Despite his growing concerns about remaining unmarried in his mid-30s, the reality star maintained that he is fully prepared to settle down as soon as he can find a genuine, compatible partner who is willing to build a relationship based on substance rather than material demands.
