Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested 147 suspected hoodlums during a series of coordinated early-morning raids on criminal hideouts across the state.
Conducted under the command's ongoing "Operation KO S'AYE III," the tactical operations took place at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, targeting identified black spots including Boolar and the Super Ile-Epo axis.
Spokesperson for the command, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the arrests in an official press briefing on Monday, stating that the joint operational teams recovered 250 expanded cartridges, 22 machetes, five battle axes, two knives, assorted charms, and quantities of illicit substances suspected to be Indian hemp.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police Fatai Tijani commended the joint task force for the successful interdiction, reaffirming the command's commitment to maintaining Operation KO S'AYE across all local government areas.
The raid comes two weeks after a similar exercise along the Isheri-Igando corridor resulted in the arrest of 150 suspects, with police urging residents to continue providing actionable intelligence.
