N400 Million Monthly Personal Spend: Davido Breaks Down High-End Lifestyle Costs

Afrobeats megastar Davido has offered fans an unfiltered look into his personal finances, revealing that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000—roughly N300 million to N400 million—every single month.

Speaking on a live stream with popular online content creator Davrel, the "Timeless" singer explained that the massive cost is the price of keeping up with his global celebrity lifestyle.

Davido noted that his expenditure varies heavily based on geographic location. According to the singer, living in the United States ("Yankee") is much more cost-effective because he enjoys a quieter, more private existence with his wife, Chioma, and their children.

"I actually spend less in Yankee because I live with just me, my wife and my kids," he shared. However, returning to Nigeria triggers a massive surge in out-of-pocket costs due to daily hosting, continuous outings, and maintaining a massive local entourage.

"I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household. It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery," Davido clarified.

The artist emphasized that this staggering sum is strictly for his personal "balling" and day-to-day lifestyle, highlighting the eye-watering financial realities of staying at the top of the global music industry.
