The extensive fiscal release, sanctioned by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, follows an exhaustive, forensic verification and reconciliation exercise designed to guarantee that only duly validated and transparent economic claims qualify for state funding.
According to an official media brief released on Monday, June 8, 2026, by Mary-Ann Duke, the Senior Special Assistant on Communication and Press Secretary to the Minister of Finance, the expansive payouts cut across several vital Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
