The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has sparked massive engagement among tertiary education aspirants across Nigeria after officially fixing Saturday, June 13, 2026, for the conduct of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up test.
According to an official statement released by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the mop-up examination is strictly designated as a final lifeline for specific categories of candidates who encountered issues during the main UTME window held in April 2026.
This includes candidates who successfully underwent biometric verification but faced technical disruptions at their centers, those whose results were temporarily withdrawn pending review of minor infractions, and candidates who experienced verified biometric failures on their original test day.
