Controversial street-pop artist Portable has expressed immense gratitude after surviving a frightening car accident in Ogun State on Thursday night.

Portable revealed in a video shared on his Instagram story that he was forced to steer his vehicle into a ditch to avoid a more devastating collision with a trailer.

“Nothing do me oo, I came out unhurt. I thank God they are not here to carry my corpse,” the singer stated.

Despite the close call, he assured fans that the celebration for his son with wife Bewaji would proceed as planned, with two cows already purchased for the festivities.

According to Qubes Magazine, the accident happened during a busy period for the singer, following his recent high-profile boxing match against Carter Efe.

Portable is known for his resilience and was seen earlier in the week distributing free Ankara fabrics to friends and family in preparation for the naming event.
