The Nerazzurri only needed a single point to secure the Scudetto with three matches to spare, but they delivered a full three-point performance to send the home crowd into a frenzy.
Goals from Marcus Thuram and veteran midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed the win, moving Inter 12 points clear of the previous season's champions, Napoli.
Thuram opened the scoring just before halftime, while 37-year-old Mkhitaryan doubled the lead in the 80th minute after a perfect cross from Lautaro Martinez.
This victory marks a historic moment for manager Cristian Chivu, who celebrated his first major trophy as a coach after winning the league three times as a player with the club.
