Senator Abdul Ningi has asserted that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remains the undisputed political powerhouse in Bauchi State, independent of any single individual's influence.
Speaking on Channels TV, Ningi stated that the party's 20-year history in the state has created a structure that reaches every ward and village.
Ningi argued that while Governor Bala Mohammed has successfully won two terms under the PDP, the party is capable of securing victory in 2027 even without his involvement.
He emphasized that the PDP is not built on "anti-party" sentiments and that the entire structure will rally behind whoever emerges as the governorship candidate.
"I do not view the 2027 elections as a matter of life and death.
My priority is ensuring the party survives any political turbulence and continues to grow beyond the next election cycle," Ningi stated.
