Senator Seriake Dickson receiving Kabir Marafa into the NDC in Abuja

Former Zamfara Central Senator Kabir Garba Marafa has officially defected to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), marking his second party switch in less than a month.

Marafa, who recently left the APC for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), explained that he could no longer stay in the ADC due to multiple court cases threatening the party’s stability ahead of INEC’s 2027 deadlines.

He was received in Abuja by NDC National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson and Chairman Senator Moses Cleopas.
