The world of football is in mourning following the sudden passing of Jacek Magiera, the assistant coach of the Poland national team, at the age of 49.
The former Poland U20 manager reportedly collapsed while out for a run on Friday morning, a tragic event that has sent shockwaves through the European football community.
Magiera, who had been serving in his current role since July 2025, was highly respected for his tactical mind and warm personality.
Aston Villa defender and Polish international Matty Cash was among the first to pay tribute to the late coach on social media.
"Jacek, you were such an amazing guy, always with a smile. You will be missed dearly. RIP Legend," Cash shared in a heartfelt post.
